The well-known maintenance brand Muc-Off has released Dark Energy chain wax, which was developed over a period of 4 years. This product aims to balance the three challenging factors of efficient transmission, durability, and low wear. It has undergone over 8,500 hours of bench tests and 100,000 kilometers of actual road tests, and does not contain PFAS or PTFE. It uses plant-based biodegradable wax components. The accompanying chain cleaner has also been launched simultaneously, specifically designed for wax-based transmission systems. This reflects the trend that chain maintenance products are moving towards specialization, high performance, and environmental friendliness.
